CAMBRIDGE, Mass.
(April 20, 2005) -- Vertical Communications (ASFT.OB),
a leading provider of next-generation, IP-based phone
systems and applications that help businesses better
serve their customers, announced today that the
company's stock is qualified for continued listing on
the OTCBB.
The NASD listing qualifications hearing panel had
previously scheduled a hearing for April 21, 2005, but
has determined that such a hearing is unnecessary due
to the recent filing of Vertical's Form 10-Q for the
quarter ended December 31, 2004. As a result, NASD
removed the fifth character, "E," from Vertical's
trading symbol effective with the open of trading on
Friday, April 15, 2005.
